86 thrust washer question
« on: September 30, 2013, 10:22:07 am »
can any one pay some pics of the piston thrust washers for an 86 lt250r.I had someone else rebuild the top end on it  and it looks to me like the washers were home made do if any one can pay some pics of them and dimensions  for them. here is a pic of what mine looks like. I'm trying to figure out what happened bc the piston is a wiseco 71mm  but the piston itself measures about.010"  smaller than 71mm  and the cylinder is about .004" out of round but is only.002" bigger than 71mm. I'm thinkin he didn't bore it right and put the wrong washer in. any help?

Those look like the oem stock thrust washers that fail and destroy the top end when they go. Not home made I'm pretty sure. Here's a link to the washers available on this site and the contact info
