• What's the safest overbore an '86 jug will handle? And who supplies pistons for said overbore?

• The safest overbore is one bore size up from stock.

  What part of the country are you in. 
  
  Our turn around time on cylinder boring is usually less than 3 days.
  
  We have not seen any more problems with the 2 mm over-bores than the smaller sizes as long as the head is cut for the larger piston and it has a head gasket that is compatible with the bore size.
