WTB +4 swinger for a 500
« on: March 03, 2015, 03:44:02 pm »
A local friend of mine is searching for a +4 swinger.

He really wants an arched style one but was unable to get a hold of Lance.

Anyone got or know where you can get the arched style swinger?  If not, do you have a normal +4 swinger for sale?

let me know.

thanks

Only other one I know of was Chris G, and I think he sold that long time ago.

SLC would be the place to get one.

You may give stellar a call and see if they'd be interested in building one.

Well, Stellar can't build the arched swinger for the zillas.  Anyone live close to them that can drop off their 500 so they can make a jig?  ;D

I had talked with Tim @ Stellar about a year ago about my hybrid zilla swing arm (Banshee carrier & link). He actually seemed interested in this project but wanted me to have more ride testing done before he would even attempt to build a conversion setup. I think its safe to say that it has held up to some serious abuse & has a better ride than a Zilla link suspension, and my Metal Tech +6 Banshee based swing arm is a few pounds lighter than my old Metal Tech +4 Zilla piece.

Chris,

Are you willing to sell it?

Using the LS carrier for the 500 will eliminate the need to replace the rear end with banshee or honda stuff.

RAD manufacturing makes tapered and dual row carriers for 250/500 also. http://www.radmfg.com/RAD-Bearing-Carrier-S8-fits-LT500R-p/rad-bc-s8.htm  Jason @ Honda east used to have them in stock for real cheap.

I need a round though and i think LS was the only one to make one for the 500.
