I know for sure the 85' & 86' have their own design.  In 87' they changed over to grab bars with fender supports.

 All you need to do is enter in your year, next select quadracer 250, then find the diagram with the grab bar in it.  Write down the part number for it.  Next check out the other years and see if the part numbers change or do a visual inspection to see if there are any changes.  87' may have its own style as it's the year the engineers must have been over hung. Lol just kidding.  But seriously check that out.
