• I just got a 90 lt250r and it does not have the headlight unfortunately.  I like to do a little riding at night here and there so I'm looking to try and replace it.

• I use fog lights from wal mart. I think they work better and more light then stocker.

• Get a good LED light, the stock lights suck badly...

• Here these 2 threads should help on LED lights they are worth the upgrade riding at night. 250 and 500 have similar charging systems.

• watch ebay, you can find the stocker at good prices, everyone wants like 75 bucks for the stocker
  but i have seen them for 15 to 40 on ebay in great shape, i think the 230 and the 250s are the same
  just look at mounting bracket to make sure it bolts from top and not side.

• 20 $ fog lights can bolt them right to stem where the stockers bolt and their 55 watts just right will post pic in a bit
