Group buy on new heat seeker temp gauge
« on: June 23, 2013, 09:54:30 am »
I talked to Mike from Full Tilt and he is willing to make some new gauges if 10 or more people are interested in them. They wont be the original heat seeker gauge face it will be a all white face, it will be $35 plus shipping. You can place your order with him by email or phone at the web site below. So far i believe Chrisr, BadmoonRacing500, QuadMan8, Dangerouspower, Stpltn25r (possibly wanting 2) and myself want one.

I'll be in for one, but have to catch up on bills first. Probably another 2 weeks.

I don't want my zilla to be a gotty time machine, going for a shiny basic old school look.

People probably wouldn't even notice it on the handlebars, but it's cool....whatever hydroplanes your quad :)

One good thing about the heatseeker is the tubing and where it's located.
That solid tubing negates the need for formed radiator hose, so you can use a straight hose without developing a kink or restriction at that bend.

I do, but the causality elimination circuit has been on the fritz.
If it's active whilst traveling conventionally in Newtonian law, you increasingly experience time dilation in the same manner as if you were increasing relativistic speeds.
Just wouldn't feel right about selling it until I can fix the problem.

Just hope that when I get my motor back from HPR that it reaches the necessary 88mph that makes time travel possible! On a different note, anybody else need the heatseeker temp gauge to monitor engine temps?

You shouldn't have a problem hitting 88mph...my 250 could go faster than that and it was virtually stock (rad valve, uni open element, Q pipe).

That was my last resort, I travel for work putting in 12 hour days, 7days a week. I'm not really at the place to be trying to sell and ship these out, but I guess I may have to if I want one for myself.

Quadman8, did you ever find out if he is able to repair my original heatseeker? It's stuck at 180 right now.

El Diablo--you have me confused with someone else I guess.  I have had no contact with the guy who makes them.  Check with Sledhead--he is the one who set up the group buy and spoke to the guy who makes them.  Im just trying to rally the troups to get 10 people interested.

El Diablo- I spoke with mike, he would replace the temperature gauge with a new one and reuse the elbow if that the route you wanted to go.

This is by far one of the best things you can put on your LT, it is important to know temp
of bike when woods riding, temp always climbs and now you will have a eye on it.
life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sidays totally worn out shouting "HOLY SH*T...WHAT A RIDE!"
