your better off with a carb from a 88+. most guys switch the 87 for a 88
life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sidays totally worn out shouting "HOLY SH*T...WHAT A RIDE!"

Are you looking to do a stock size carb, or a larger 38mm?
I make carbon case savers, and sprocket covers for a bunch of crazies that own ancient bikes, Wait, I have an ancient LT250 too!!!

I bought a 500/250 package deal, the owner took the Zilla carb and installed it on the 250. Runs great with a fmf pipe & silencer.
