Headlight for a 90 lt250r
« on: December 29, 2013, 11:46:31 am »
I just got a 90 lt250r and it does not have the headlight unfortunately.  I like to do a little riding at night here and there so I'm looking to try and replace it.

I use fog lights from wal mart. I think they work better and more light then stocker.  2c

Get a good LED light, the stock lights suck badly...

Does the stock stator work fine with these lights you're talking about? Got any picture? I'd love to see how some of these lights look.

Here these 2 threads should help on LED lights they are worth the upgrade riding at night. 250 and 500 have similar charging systems.

watch ebay, you can find the stocker at good prices, everyone wants like 75 bucks for the stocker
but i have seen them for 15 to 40 on ebay in great shape, i think the 230 and the 250s are the same
just look at mounting bracket to make sure it bolts from top and not side.
life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sidays totally worn out shouting "HOLY SH*T...WHAT A RIDE!"
