Zilla parts for sale
« on: September 06, 2013, 12:39:41 pm »
Got a bunch of zilla stuff..or so I think. Anway

2 cylinder in need of work. 1 87 and 1 88-90. 87 has what seems to be larger head studs(one missing), 88 has a few studs missing...make offer

small tube frt bumper..make offer

key switch..make offer (may be 250)

light switch..make offer (may be 250)

2 flywheels..make offer..1 large hub and 1 small hub

headlight with guard..make offer

4 stators..make offer

1 PVL complete ignition..make offer

3 used reed cages..1 lg and 2 small..make offer

1 CDI...make offer

2 transmissions..1 complete..1 missing a few items (dont know what ratio)...make offer

swinger guards (may be 250) ...make offer

Remember when making offer I still have to ship this stuff. I will ship using USPS. So think of that. Ive never been out to screw anyone, so with that being said. I purchased most of it off ebay. You get what you get. I make no guarantee. It is what it is. Most of this stuff was purchased as a back up and Ive never needed any of it. The PVL came off the zilla when I got it. Some of the stuff came with it and has been sitting in a tote. Im moving and want this stuff gone.

Chris what's the deal with the pvl ignition? Also is the cdi you have test good as far as resistance per the manual? I'm pretty sure my cdi is bad which is what's causing my timing issues with my build. Thanks man.

the transmissions were purchased used. Ive looked them over and everything seems good on them. The second tranny is missing a shift star and the little dowels that fit in the end of the shift drum that are spring loaded. Maybe a few other little things.

The PVL was on the zilla when we got it. It was easy as **** to start. But I didnt keep track of where it was timed. So when I put it back on, I installed it per the manufacture specs. Kicked back and was a pain to start. It all depends on where you se it at. The PVL has a generic curve built in to it. You set the timing marks at a certain distance before TDC. Thats where you can advance or retard the ignition depending on where you set it at.

and no deebo...no gas tank.... figured you would have gotten one by now

Chris what about the stock Zilla cdi? Is it good or have you not tested it?

Which of the two is the 88 cylinder, the rusty one or the not rusty one?

Also what bore is it on and it is OEM or sleeved?

Thanks
