Ok time to tear her down and see what happened to 3rd at newtown and who knows maybe add a thing or 2... Im gonna take a bunch of pics as there was some interst in building a lt5 dragster and to be honest imo my setup is a great all around setup that still has a lot to lose i know guys wit hybrids that got 20-25 lbs on my bike. Believe me its almost unbelievable the diffrence a little and dedication will do for your bike as far as weight goes.

on stand ready for teardown!
ok i know what your thinking this kid is dumb how much can you possibly take off a 500 frame? A picture is worth a thousand words...
Where did you get that stator cover? Also I want your pipe!!! LoL. Im hitting Jerry up next week and ordering a HPR pipe for my zilla....Love the zilla tho...very nice bike
Thanks its a r.i.s stator cover and i think you will be happy wit the pipe i was!
After dozens of hard launches my carbon cartel motor mounts still look like the day i got them!
Wow, your drag bike is running stock ears? No problems? Any special setup to keep them from cracking?
I mounted my airfilter bracket using the same band on the top mount. Lots of polishing in that engine

looks nice!
they are welded up Rogue,
so whats some of the new ideas you got for it, you gonna try the VM44.
i hear thats the way to go. better thrtl responce.
keep us posted on your build.
The ears are welded just not build up 3 inches like some builders do. I assume that the ears are good as i doubt jerry woulda left them go if they wasnt. They where welded by so me one else. not really sure what to do yet i gotta come up with a diffrent airfilter set-up as mine is hitting my wheelie bar bad. I personally hate vm44's imo they arent worth the hasss
le that involved to put on on the bike then tuning it forget about it. As of right now the 48 lectron works very well keep in mind this bike is a straight up dedicated dragster all i need it to do is idle and go wide open lol! Thinkin bout doing more chassis work gonna go with a ridgid frontend prob sell my metaltech drag frontend.
