Thx to Deebo got my AAEN Pipe a while ago and am pretty happy with it
Since u can ride them quads down here in Germany also on the streets I am trying to silence down the AAEN Pipe a bit ... The header is the one making the pinging noise just like a disc saw when u hit the throttle so what about wrapping that up with some heat wrap they use for car engines with a turbo ... or some Harley folks are covering their pipes with that as well ?
Any objection for a 2 stroke engine to do so ? Let me know please
Honda trx250r oem pipes are dual walled to lessen noise. That's not much help for sure...

do you already have the spark arrestor silencer or the smaller one, someone on here said the sparky silencer was too restrictive on motor, on the old site some guys were mentioning it was a good silencer for state parks where noise is a problem.

Wrapping the pipe will reduce the noice that rings off the body of the pipe.
Wrapping the pipe will typically push the torque and power peak 100 to 400 RPM higher.
Wrapping the pipe should not make it crack unless the pipe was constructed from inferior materials, the wrong welding filler rod was used or the welds are too thick.
got the smaller one .. so no spark arrestor for me ... even by the looks i wouldnt swap necessarily xD^^

Lots of PPL Will Say you will Over Heat it... But I call BullShit on that. And did it on Lots of my Bikes. (Yz490, Yz250's And Yz400 )
And the Shop i use to work at Puts it on 2 Strokes all the time.
I know A Lot of ppl that do this and i Love the Sound of a Big Bore Bike With Wrapping on the Full pipe
got it loud and clear

once i got it all wrapped up on my aaen pipe nice and tight (after having soaked up the wrap with water) and fixed it with stainless-steel-wire, and run the motor to dry out the wrap.
only concern left, will the wrap not move down from the broader parts of the pipe towards the ends after I have some heat cycles and hours running the zilla ?!? hope not cuz that will be a waste of bucks i guess then ...
FYI, I have seen pipe wrap hold water and never dry out. To the point they rot out the pipe.
If you run on road, I would think your in a higher rpm steady state cruise. I would not be in a hurry to wrap. Run it and make sure you have no issues as a road runner before wrap
