Flange size

• I recently purchased an aluminum flange off eBay and dg pipe for the 500. The pipe don't fit on the flange. Does anyone know if they make different sizes? A Rhonda 250r pipe fits on it. Wth?

  stock flange is welded to the stock pipe.  no springs or flanges.  same as the 250.  aftermarket pipes came with flanges

  not gonna argue, but the flange was part of the stock pipe.  you must not have seen a stock pipe.  just look them up on the microfiche.  you won't find a seperate flange or springs. if you want i'll dig out a 86 stock pipe and take pictures.
