Thanks for replying LTman, any idea what kind of pipe it could be? I tried looking around the pipe to find a name or stamp. But didn't see anything, would propbably have to take it off to look properly.
Its definitely, not a stock pipe. Not so sure, but it could be a Aaen pipe. More pictures from different angles would be helpful.
Doesn't look like an Aaen, after reviewing the rest of the photos. You could try comparing, with other pipes that also have the right bend. Such as power pros, bills, pro circuit ( I believe they made one) dg. Etc...
Yeah, because it doesn't have a name or logo or anything on it. It's weird, maybe it's just old or something. I just flipped the bike up on the rear wheels and gave it a thorough inspection. There's nothing. Could it be homemade? Is it worth keeping and working with? Doesn't look like a cheap pipe, but what do I know? Any cool pipes without names or logos on em?
I don't think is homemade, looks well made. But could be an early production pipe. Hopefully, someone on here will know more about it. You should run it and see how it does.
That would be great! Guess I'm stuck with it for now, but i have to figure out if its the pipe that's making it so loud.
First order of biz on this is to switch to a twist throttle.
I suspect this is a DG pipe. Im not sure but kinda looks like one and it DG front bumper
It is very possible... Check the silencer packing. It may need to be repacked. Keep in mind, that most aftermarket exhaust systems are louder than stock.
