The safest overbore is one bore size up from stock.
Wiseco supplies these pistons.

Is there any place I can ship the jug to and they'll bore it and send it back? I don't have time to do the machine shop dance.

What part of the country are you in.

Our turn around time on cylinder boring is usually less than 3 days.

We have not seen any more problems with the 2 mm over-bores than the smaller sizes as long as the head is cut for the larger piston and it has a head gasket that is compatible with the bore size.
