Just bought a Paul turner pipe and silencer off eBay for 250 plus shipping. Little surface rust but looks solid. I got a bent up fmf with a custom homemade fmf/dg silencer right now so I'm expecting a great improvement. Might not be able to use the power until winter is over or until I find some glare ice without snow. But a review will come shortly.
Anyone who runs these wanna share some input?
What style PT pipe? Mid or top end?
It didn't specify on the ad. My porting is set up for mostly top end, read good reviews about them and figured I couldn't really couldn't go wrong compared to the hack job I'm running now.
I was looking at that same pipe. I could never get the seller to send me better pics to figure out if it was the top or mid pipe but it looks like the mid pipe in the pics. I know the mid pipe is a strong runner and a great woods pipe. I know nothing about the topend pipe they built.
put some pics up when you get it, im sure there are a few people that could de-cipher it for you!

here's a picture for anyone familiar enough to know exactly what it is.
Back when I had my 87 250 I tried an fmf, turner mid and a turner rev pipe on it. It was stock as far as porting goes. I felt like the turner rev was the best, and the fmf and turner mid were a wash. I honestly didn't think there was that big of a difference in any of them though. I sold the bike to a buddy of mine that was racing mx at the time and gave him all three pipes to try. When I talked to him about it a month or so later, he said the same thing. Not much difference, but thought the turner rev was probably the best overall.
I was keeping my eye on that pipe as well.. Let us know how it is once you get it, so I can kick my self in the A** for not buying it.
i agree with powerstrokin, i had both the fmf and the mid pt pipe on my 250 and there was hardly a difference. the midrange is stamped ou250 on the id plate. now mine has the q pipe on it.
Just installed the paul turner pipe. It's stamped ou250. Feels more powerful, although its hard to tell just spinning the tires. But it definitely sounds more healthy. The power is like a lightswitch, just nothing then BAM! Tires won't stop spinning. Reminds me of my old banshee, probably somewhat due to the porting setup though.
heres a few pictures. I forgot to add that its about twice a thick as the fmf pipe.

Looks about the same size to me as the fmf pipe
I meant the steel thickness. But the cone is much longer before it gets to the silencer than the fmf.
you can tell its longer, looks good
