I think Sparky has a works rear for an 85-86 but it should work for the newer bike as well. Should PM him if your interested.

Their a couple works rear shocks on ebay for 87 to 92
91 Lt250r Bartlett port and head mod v force 2 Hinson Clutch Basket Cool Head Scp Pipe and silencer ,KN air filter ,EBC clutch, Ohlins  Triple rate Shocks Redone by PEP Shocks,Stock Rear Shock Redone By Pep Shock,  DG nerf Bars , Lonestar axle 2+2,Lonestar Swingarm ,Douglas Red Label rims.

sblt500 had a few very nice rebuilt shocks for sale not to long ago.

I've got one. It came with a roller I bought and decided to build a 91. It seemed ok and doesn't appear to have any leaks. $50 plus ship. I have a bunch of 87-90 parts too..

You can make a rear shock from a raptor 700 work.  I have one on my hybrid.
