Ohlins front shocks
« on: April 02, 2014, 06:49:17 am »
I have a set of ohlins front shocks for sale. They are 14 1/2" eye to eye. I had them on an 87 lt250r frame to bring the front end down a little for ice racing but they are for a 85-86 frame lt250r.

Not sure what weight they were set at. I bought them about a year of so ago from someone off here I used them just this winter a few runs down the track on the ice. I swapped them out with a set of works I just got. No rebound adjustment on them.

its hard for me to compare the two cause the ohlins are shorter then the works. I had stock fronts on last summer and only put the ohlins on to lower the front of my quad for racing to help stop front end lifting. The works I just put on and I havent ridden this quad with the works yet. But I have works tripple rates on my hybrid and works dual rates on my zilla and I like them. These were on my 250

I was looking for shorter shocks to run. I have adjustable a arms. So I could square out camber and all that.

I believe I sold these to you LT500kid.

When I bought my quadzilla these shocks were on the front. I know these were the incorrect shocks. I bought works to replace these. Sorry fellas I can not give any info on these shocks as I had recieved them used myself.

I can tell you this though. I sold these shocks for pretty much the same price LT500kid is asking for them now. He is not out to make a buck. Seams to me like he is just passing on th saving to another member. If that's not straight up I don't know what is.
