Not a bad price!
A few years back I believe I paid somewhere around $300 for four of them, and I thought that was cheap LOL

Haha, well I'm only a few years older than your kids so I still take of mine.also i don't have much room to talk since the top end on my quad racer is off too. My hayabusa currently fills my need for speed. I will say my ltr can move quickly up those big hills in glamis so i dont back down from a friendly zilla challenge.

If it protects from knife attacks, I may need to borrow this the next time I work an ambulance shift in El Centro, CA. It was starting to get violent there on Sunday morning  because the union workers on strike didn't want us in their city running their ems calls. 1) I hate when unions get involved in matters that shouldn't concern them. 2) I won't stand for violence against me or my co-workers, even if it is from other emergency care workers.

That's F**ked up, union pansies complaining about wages and hours threaten EMT's during a strike when there are people dying or in need of medical care.
I wouldn't be using a flak jacket for defense, I'd be using a gun for offense.

The teamsters are actually bringing guys in from other cities to support the picket line. They are following our ambulances to medical calls & threatening to sabotage our ambulance while we are attending to the patients. Then they are also blocking the emergency entrance to the local hospitals. Bunch of nonsense if you ask me.

I don't want to start a big argument, everyone's entitled to there opinion. I'm a union member and believe that the unions hold the standard in our country. If it wasn't for unions fighting for good wages, we would all be making $10 an hour.

I disagree Moto, and WRONG!!!!! Buckie. DEMOCRATS ruined Detroit/Michigan.
I'm in the middle.
I like the Union fighting for a good wage, but I hate the scum they protect. Like jerks getting drunk/high on the job.
I'm also a Republican, because I believe in our Constitution and America, and I don't want any OBAMANITE taking away MY rights for their own LIBERAL SOCIALIST AGENDA!!!! America, F (pg) K YEAH!

Ok ok. My bad on starting off on the wrong foot here, but like PCS said, lets not bring that up here on this thread. If someone wants, they can start a thread in the lounge section to debate unions & politics. Hell, we can even sticky it if you guys want.

Anarchy tempered with common law is the only way.
Rebulicans, democrats, liberals, and conservatives can die in a fire for all I care.
Now, start a thread about politics or leave it be.

I think we need to see a performance test of the flak jacket.  Can you set it on top of a live grenade or something cool like that? Ha
