They are swappable. You can run a 250 one on the 500 and 500 on the 250
is there any benefit to running the pvl ignition?

tiny flywheel = SUPER fast revs + 360 degree's of timing variation
down side is its "obselete" and you lose bottom end from losing the weight of the flywheel
