hello everybody. I have a lt500r bought it new back in 1990 and the cases are bad now where to crank bearings go I have a set of 87's that are in great shape. can I use all the 90's guts in the 87's cases.I know all the differences in models  but I never tried this before thanks

there are a few things that are different, counter ballencer is one of them but it will still work.

Wow, I wonder how many of you still have your Zilla's from new. I've had my '87 for 22 years.

Believe it or not, I still have the sales receipt. Before tax it was $3999 and after tax like $4240. I not sure on after tax It is in that piece somewhere.

If you do use the 87 cases, you can send off your 90 cases to get machined for bearing inserts so that they can be reused later in the future... or just sell them to get back some of your money.
