So I got the new 2 qt fuel tank mounting mocked up the problem is im not gonna be able to use the stock petcock the tank is made to use a 1/8 inch petcock but i dont think its gonna flow enough. Im wondering what some thoughts are I thought about just using a barbed fitting and perhaps a inline shut-off any idea's?

On a bright note I lost over 3 lbs and lost thats massive stock fuel tank with a nice little clean one.
i was at the hard ware store the other day they had the first 1 u listed and it turns easy and is really light weight
My thing is the flow rate. You think it will flow enough. I was thinking they are cheap maybe I could try to drill one out as big as I can get it.
The 1/4" ones flow about enough as a mower needs. The internal size of them is the problem. They are 1/4" OD but don't flow as much as 1/4" ID would. If that makes sense?
You'd be best off finding a Pingle or something to mount to your tank
Read about the mod you do to the petcock, grinding the flow route so that both reserve and on fuel paths work at the same time. But it's still the same id inside the petcock.
Yes please read origional post I know all about the petcock mod. Maybe ill put in a 1/4 I.d. barbed fitting and just forget about a shut-off. Ill just pinch fuel line or drain tank at the end of the night.
Im looking for the same thing
on my next build im thinking about moding the backbone to hold extra fuel
Get an IV seal off thing. It has a channel that's like a ramp with a roller thing that as you push it up it pinches off the fluid flow. Idk if they make them that big though
