lmao, how did we start talking about robert again,
I have a big bore cylinder, piston and rings included, it'll bump displacement up to 2,450cc.
Some modification required to match the 500 crankcase.
$2,000 obo, 9 available.
I've got some old snaggletooth 100AG blades that I can throw in if you buy them all :p
When you are trying to get info from a guy seems to be completely spun, it makes things a little difficult. I was told it was ported by Jerry Hall and built by 'engineers' and Edelbrock. Again, it was not easy to get info on this and I really do not want to misrepresent it. I thought I would simplify it and just say Jerry Hall.
No harm... No foul
Nice Zilla you got there
Well, I definitely dont want to sell it if Hall did not port it, is there any way to confirm that it was Ported by jerry Hall?? Does he engave anything on it?
Yeh, that could jam you up....maybe pm Jerry on here (Jerry is Jerry Hall from HPR), his handle is motorgeek and he should be able to verify whether or not he worked on it.
JH engraves "HPR" on the cylinders he ports. He has not built any LT500 stroker motors.
Dale, didnt he put his marking under the reed intake on his drag motors, maybe this was on his older ones.
I've never seen that, only other engraving I know he does is when the cylinder requires 2 base gaskets after machining the deck surfaces....
Funny...still listed on eBay as a Hall motor.
How many nice quads are you gonna hack up?
I have tried selling parts on forums before, and had way too many issues with buyers, payments, addresses, haggling, lowballing etc. And certain folks that want to call my cell number all hours of the day to ask questions about anythind and everything. There were a lot great people to deal with and some that were not. I know that the forums are a great spot for the die hards that bleed blue and red, however ebay provides a platform that streamlines the entire process, and I do not mind the fees because of that.
