Curious is there a benefit to running the cool head on the quadzilla? When I had my banshee I had nothing but problems with the cool heads and took them off. Just searching for some opinion on the matter. Positives/negatives that sort of thing. As always thanks guys!
They Still have to have the Squish checked/cut, You can mount a compression release on them and they make one without the head stay mount that looks cleaner. You need to run the cooper washers on the studs or they leak. The best is to get them O-ringed. Not much power advantage over a modified stock head.
When modifying the cool head for orings, do they use epoxy to restrict the coolant passages (like the oem head gasket does) or can they weld it?
I remember reading where a oem cyl head they weld it then machine it.
So basically having my stock head machined, o ringed and the squish corrected gives me almost the same thing as a cool head which would basically need all of this stuff done to it as well as having epoxy to restrict coolant flow.

You're on the right track. One benefit to a cool head is that you can replace the dome if it becomes damaged or swap them out for different CC chambers to get different compression ratios.
They look good................
