Heres a pic of the intake boot.Think its off an 82 RM465.Think the 83 RM500 are the same.Fits 38-39mm carbs and likely be able to cram some bigger in too. This is for the 87 5 bolt only.

Just look for part number 13110-14210

I should add this boot doesn,t have the "wings" on the back side so if you run the stock cage might have to run a reed stuffer. One of the builders would likely know for sure. The V2 setup would be fine.Jerry sells a sweet V2 reed setup with spacer plate.
Can,t fix stupid.:)

Ok Rainman, Got it. Just took mine apart, verified, stock reed cage with some carbon fiber reeds, cant remember the brand. What is the deal with the wings? way back in the day when i put the boyesen reeds in my blaster they had you cut them off??? so are they needed with the rm465 intake??? Thanks so much for the input, don't really wanna go stock boot and stretch again.  Also emailed about the billet intake, It is beautiful, but out of the budget @ the moment.

Also, got your pm El Diablo, Ill get in touch with you on that. I am leaving the house for the hospital with the wife in a few hrs so we can be induced +k2
