• 87 lt500 great condition. Runs good won't stay in second gear. I can launch out of first hit second
  Pull then it slips into neutral. Something is wrong with second gear no visible
  Damage to trans. Any help would be great.

• It's typical. You need the gears either replaced or the dogs re-cut. Hit up Greg Whittaker at W-C-R.

• Thanks guys!! I looking to have them welded an re cut. If one gear is bad all might be bad so I'm doing the whole trans as of now.

• I wouldn't do any welding to the gears as this would affect the temper of the steel.
