Are these dents normal and what causes these. I looked on ebay at lt250r frames and these dents seem to be in the lt250r frame on the right side of the frame right in front of the foot peg. This seems like it could create a weak spot and if so how do i fix this. I am thinking these dents may be from the bottom of the engine where the 2 bolts are under the cover they are about the same width but i don't know. Thanks for the help guys
Those are factory dents

Not kidding either, I believe they are there for bolt/cover clearance and removal.
I see thanks. So do I need to strengthen up the bottom of the frame there? Are they known to break there? I do appreciate it I modified my message before you replied and said they look about the same width as the bolts you supplied. I just dont want my overweight butt breaking anything. mhr lt250r pipe
I've never seen one crack their. reinforcing is up to you, but I don't think it's needed. You'd be better off gusseting some of the weaker portions of the front frame section.
Perfect Is there a diagram of where to gusset this frame at. Thanks again
Thank you that is a whole lot of welding that needs done. I am in western Washington and now i need to find a decent welder for a reasonable price. I figure it should look good once it is powder coated.
Since your a bigger guy, i'm 200-215 save your pennys for a zilla motor and do a hybrid. You can do all the fab work on the frame for the conversion before pc and then pc and run the 250 in it. It will still bolt right in, then just save your pennys for a zilla motor and hybrid pipe. SBLT's hybrid kit is $65 I think in the store.
The 500 hybrid is pretty awesome and maybe someday I will do this setup, but for now I think I am just going to stick with the little bore lt. I still plan on getting another zilla I have regretted selling the last one I had, but I haven't found the right one yet.
