Anybody have this problem with there LSR steering stem. When you tern the handle bars all the way to the left or the rite the steering stem hits the frame. Look at the pics and let me know what you think.
Maybe it's just me, but Idon't see the little stoppers on the stem in the pic? My 250 LSR stem had little stoppers....??
Rubber bumpers go in those holes on the frame but the steering stem does not come anywhere near hitting them.

Right. You can mount a bracket that will raise the bumpers to the level of the tie rod mount. That's seems to be the easiest solution short of going to a stock zilla stem.
87 Zilla Stem is Different than the other years.
FYI
I had the same issue with my stem. And it took them 4 stems to even get only that much wrong with it. So I just learned to live with it as it was the smallest I their screwups and when your shipping to Canada back and forth it gets pretty costly.
I guess i'm beat. I bought that steering stem seven months ago when i started my build.
i can't really tell, but it looks like its hitting the rubber damper brace? why not just cut a notch on each side of the tierod mounts.
I guess i'm going to leave it as is for now.
