Here is a pic of my newley redesigned front suspension on my zilla. It is made from 1.125" DOM chromolly tubing & uses longer shocks from an LTR-450. I just have to finish tig welding everything up then take it out for some testing before the bottom arms get chromed.
This is the difference in length from the stock zilla length Works I was previously running to the stock LTR-450 shock.
(BTW, I still have these Works for sale listed in the for sale section)
What's the width difference with the new a-arms?
I think I remember seeing this setup over on QRHQ a while back, looks like a big improvement over stock...especially with LTR shocks!
Nice how close the pivot points are to minimize bump steer.
I would love a set of those Long Travel A Arms!
Overall width is alittle over 2" wider per side. Keep in mind I also converted over to LTZ-400 spindles & hubs as well. As far as bump steer goes, there is very little.
The progressive springs on the LTR shocks seem to be what my zilla really needs.
Mitch, if you want, I can take as many pictures for you as needed so that you could duplicate these arms. What I should do if I get the time is make a jig to reproduce these. The only thing is that these are not a bolt on item. There was some frame modifications that needed to be done for the pick up points. BUT... the ride is well worth it in the end.
Did you have Tyler make new ones based off your old ones?

No, I actually did the fab work myself here in my shop. I figured I would put my benders, welders & notchers to some good use.
