So all my dust caps, washers, spacers and bolts are in good shape just need new bearings and seals. Any suggestion on cleaning the stock components I'm re using? Chemicals to use or should I just drop them off at a machine shop for a sonic bath?
Hell I'm lazy .. I spray the parts with contact cleaner an wipe them off, inspecting the condition as I go...
spray with de greaser and hose them off. Check the welds. New bearings should come with dust caps and hardware.
Rustbelt new kits that include everything are about $100 more than just bearings and seals and why replace pieces that are still in good condition if you don't need to.
Wow. That seems a little steep. I would just get the bearings in that case.
Get a case tumbler for rifle brass and the cleaning polishing media, about an hour all polished and new.
