The only place I ride is sand & have been my entire 42yrs!!! No dirt it sucks!! Not a good idea to not put front brakes on your bike unless its a drag bike!! If you crest a dune & it drops off on the back side your gonna yard sale bad!! The front brakes will stop you way way quicker than the back ever will!!! Using both decending a dune will allow you to have control in any situation!! Also highly recomend good steering tires too!!! Sand is extreemly unpredictable!! The dunes are never the same after a breeze or heavy wind!!! Drop offs, witch eyes, razorbacks!! You can also control the bike better side hilling with front brakes!!!!
