you can get ss flange nuts.  m8 X 1.25  or zinc plated if you didn't want ss.

or order up cylinder nuts.  ordered some before should be cr cylinder nuts.  were cheaper then the kx nuts i needed. 

stupid suzuki had to use small studs on the front hubs.   every other quad uses m10's.
