brake/sprocket hub swap to 250 axle
« on: September 21, 2013, 05:22:36 pm »
I'm swapping my Ltr axle so i figured it would be a good time to see what can swap with some of the 2 smoke parts that I'm trying to get rid of. the Ltr axle is definitely wider and beefier than the lt250 but the spline count for the brake hub and sprocket hubs are Match. I don't have a spare carrier to see how they compare.there are conversion Ltr hubs that can run on the stock axle but use more common Honda and banshee sprockets and brake discs.don't see why the should not be able to work for an older Lt. Ltr sprockets and disks are ready to find just Honda has more options when it comes to material and teeth count for sprockets and more "fancy"disk choices.

I've got an 87 and an 88 axle In my garage right now. I've also got an old carrier with new bearings in my garage that's for sale on eBay. My user name on eBay is JamesDandy. Let me know if u want me to take any measurements or count splines.
