i like the 1gal jug with some panty hose on it for the pre filter.
i had to make this last year at hatfield, there were a bunch of mud holes that year. lol

oh and it worked great, kept mud and water from the filter.

Believe it or not my buddy used a nike sock for many weekends as a filter
It actually ran great. But nike socks are expensive lol
