under-steers is when you see the tree the goes in. overrides is when you hear the tree which you were going on.

Just about any 4cyl street bike engine can fit in a zilla, but they'll ALL need frame work and modifications to bolt in.
Another option is a rotax triple (or suitable 2-stroke snowmobile engine) if you want to keep it 2-stroke.
I've seen numerous examples of street bike engine conversions, and at least two zillas with rotax engines.
One example was built with a 2-stroke Suzuki Gamma 500 engine (Gammazilla), so if you could find one of those engine, GO FOR IT  ;D  you'll have a pretty **** quad when you're done!

Personnally I would get a late 90's GSXR 600 motor, make it a 750 and smoke 1200's.

What about a Folan v twin 950?  Arent those popular in euro road quads?  Should be a lot lighter than a streebike motor .

How uncomfortable would it be on a long distance ride on your knees? Cool as hell, but your toes would fall asleep every 20 minutes!!

I dunno man, used to ride for hours at a time covering some long distances on smooth dirt roads.
Never had issues with comfort (other than occasional bugs to the face).
