Head stays yes or no on the 250/500 hybrids
Is SBLT500 still making the engine mounts for hybrids?

Do you think a twist tie would work as well?
I have several of them from bread purchases over the years.

Bread and celery ties work ok but have to be "doctored" a bit to achive maximum new technology.

now will you be doing the work, or are you sending to someone else.
no need to pay tripple when i can send it to the same place for half the price.

John any where else is 80's technology... Scott has a mountain of twist ties both bread and celery to prove his new real world technology.. Else where you might as well just use them to close bread bags and door stops etc...
He's even dabbled in the hefty plastic ties for all you new hybrid 4poke builders..
get in line rumor has it there almost gone and Quadster starting new batch ver.2.1..

i used it on my hybrid and paid the price...
afterwards when i asked, the general thought was no, because the 250 frame flex's more. dunno for sure why, but i have had no more problems since i removed the head stay. gasket blew when it was installed in about 2 hrs... ask me how pissed i was....

I've heard of some guys running the headstays, but don't put the bolt through the head and mount... ??
