Previous owner put these on they are not 3's or 4's so maybe 1's or 2's?
Can't find a picture with this purple label on the net to tell me.

Do yourself a favor and get a fresh set of reeds in that cage!

Yup those will work, also set the petal tension at the stiffest setting. Once you pull them, out post a pic and I shall explain. Anything other than the stiffest setting and they will flutter and break.

Probably only take you a half hour to swap them at the dunes one evening.

If it's an 88+ cage you can use either of these two part numbers and find them cheaper on eBay. 2P117-1 or 2P110-1 this is per Moto Tassinari.

make sure you get the atv petals, the dirt bike ones will crack like bucks did.

According to Moto Tassinari those are the two petals that work for the 88+ lt reed cage. They didn't say anything about dirt bike or anything.

well there is a big difference, just make sure you tell them you want the atv ones and not the dirt bike ones. if one
of them cost more i would go with those ones, i think the dirt bike ones are thinner or something like that.

yes they both work in the 88 reed cage, but there are to different bikes, quad and dirt bike use the same cage.
maybe thats why yours busted, did you get the right ones buck, you might be doing this again if so.

I got 2P117-1 ones for an arctic cat is what the eBay ad said cause the lady at Moto said as long as it was one of those two part numbers it didn't matter.

MT small reed 250/500 replacement # 2P117-1

The small reed 250/500 uses the same reed as many other application such as the 250R.

I talked to the original owner and he told me there were 30-40 hours on the bike after putting in the V2s. I have about 5 hours on the new top end.
