Shoot!   I think i'm screwed!

1st... Thnx for the info guys. I'm glad to hear that the shift shaft seal is a fairly "quick & easy" fix.......

However after further inspection the issue seems to be the "drive shaft sprocket seal" (i think that's what it's called)... From what I can tell from a parts microfiche possible part # 09283-35023, OIL SEAL (35X45X6).

I cleaned it all down nice nice with some brake cleaner & rags. I idled it for a few minutes... NO leak, So I  gave it a little rip around the yard and it seems to be leaking down form  the "drive shaft sprocket seal".. oil is nice and clean, no leak when bike is NOT running.

I'm assuming the cases are gonna need to be split for this......?

Any "quick tips" for this fix?  LOL
