Nice pic....

What pipe were you running before? Did you change your jetting for the DCS4?

Oh man...

Yeah I'd go bigger on the main 2 sizes to start

The DCS breathes better than the fmf, so your probably alittle lean now

Mitch give you any recommendations?

The best jetting suggestion I got was to find the lowest elevation you will be riding at, find a slight up hill stretch to rev out fourth gear, shut it down immediately, check the plug to make sure it's not white or light grey.

I would get a 460 too.

When did the low power problem begin?

The motor was a strong running motor before the rebuild. All i did to the motor was bore it from 30 over to a 40 over and and went from fmf to dcs#4 and put new reeds. I think it is the carb i will try the 450 or 460 main jet then go from there.

How long have you been running the DCS with your current jetting.?

The reason I ask is I've partially seized a piston before that exhibited a power loss.... Upon tear down rings were stuck where a slight scuff occurred. It was fixable... Emory cloth sanded the scuff, pulled the rings & reclearanced the ring land.

Maybe do a compression check?

Go fat on jetting and dial down way better to start fat rich than lean. I would get 520 500 480 460 main jet pack from mikuni they come in sets of 4 for like $12-$15 start extra rich ad work down that's what I plan in doing when I get my motor together. I'll rob ably start around the 580 - 560 range though but I'm running a q pipe and v2 reeds with a 9" k&n so more flow than your setup.

Never trust the sizes printed on jets.  Always use a pin gauge!  You could also just take a drill bit and make the jet larger.

Why did you bore it while it was running good?
Thought you'd get more power from a bigger bore?

No i bored it 40 over because it needed to be honed and it could not be honed any more so i bored it 40 over.

your carb is in good hands, now just start doing some chin ups. you going to need strong arms to hang on. lol
