LT500R Primary Drive gear nut thread size???
« on: November 18, 2019, 08:37:17 am »
Looking to find the thread size of the nut that threads on the crankshaft on the clutch cover side...It's the nut that holds the 2 drive gears in place on the crankshaft(shaft with the slot to drive the waterpump as well.

Mine had backed off/fell off and they are discontinued from Suzuki. It's a left hand thread..If anyone knows where to purchase one let me know or if anyone knows the thread size so I can try to locate one from another source would be great...Plus I need the thread specs to purchase a die to clean up the threads on the crankshaft as well.

Any info is appreciated :)
Can,t fix stupid.:)

I might be able to help ya out.  I've got a spare bottom end with no side covers somewhere in the garage.  I'll check it tonight to see if that nut is on it.
