Iceracer I just took this picture of the in-line filter on my ride. This is what I'm wanting to get a spare for.......so if I'm reading you right this isn't "stock"? Looks like the petcock has a slow leak or maybe its the high temp. of -3 today it doesn't like.

You are correct, that filter is not stock. I don't run an external filter. If you pull the petcock out of the tank like iceracer said to, then you will see it has screens built into it. Personally if I were you, I would pull the tank off, pull the petcock out of it, flush the tank, clean the petcock screens, and reassemble with fresh, clean fuel and new fuel line and call it a day. I don't think an external filter is necessary. In fact, it is more likely to cause you problems with one, due to restricted flow. I'd rather not chance burning a piston because of a lean condition caused by restricted fuel flow.
