Glenn howell from gss race porting is gonna do my zilla for me,is he as good as all the rumors,I hope so?
Name doesn't ring a bell. What was the deciding factor that made you choose him?
My buddy has a cr 500 done by him and it flat out rips, looked up his website, and his work is legit, seems to be pretty well known for his work on the cr,so I gave him a call and we talked for a good hour,he said he done a few zillas here and there and was impressed with the motor, thinks he could get some good numbers out of a zilla similar to the cr 500 motors he does, guess im gonna give him a chance
Have you compared his prices with the engine builders that know the LT inside and out?
Make sure he does the "fixes".
no offense to you or your buddy but i wouldnt send glen my lawnmower. ive seen his work first hand, riden bikes with his cylinders, pretty pathetic to tell you the truth. he once tried to tell me there is a rev limiter in the cr500 cdi boxes hahahahha.
now i think of it, he used to hang around the cr forums, until he got booted of for being a hack. his bore jobs looked like it was done with a cheese grater. sometimes the bore had so much taper the piston wouldnt even slide through the cylinder without getting wedged.
