Good catch motorgeek. Way to keep it honest. With 60 runs to choose from why choose to even show us over inflated runs that are bogus.....perhaps because they look better for that manufacturer...hummmm
I have made over 100,000 dyno runs in my career and probably studied another 50,000 or so dyno runs made by engine manufactures that I have done consulting work for. You have to carefully study at all of the test information and testing procedures when you are designing new engines. One small oversight or an error in testing can cost an engine manufacture over $30,000 for wasted tooling for a cylinder mold or the precision male/female dies that stamp the OEM pipes. The performance of the production motor package has to match the performance of the proto-type or some heads are going to roll.
