Who is Making Custom Seat Covers for the LT500
« on: October 04, 2012, 04:19:19 pm »
Needing to finish the other Zilla Seat, Cascade prices went nuts on doing the checkered theme, Verde Power Sports wont answer the phone or E mails, Is there some one doing them that we could get them on the site?
You would think in these time they be looking for any new business.

http://www.atvseatcovers.com/ <--wont return phone calls or Emails
http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/store_index.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=66 <-Good Product aint cheap but very well made, custom pricing is out the window in pricing, my checked blue and white seat with extra padding was $225.00 now same seat $425.00.

My neighbor owns an upholstery shop. He runs it out of his garage so stuff is much cheaper than your normal shop. Heres 2 seats he did for me.

1989 zilla-candy blue and silver vein powder coat, axis custom shocks, VF 2 reeds, billet washers, o-ringed head, Q-pipe and silencer, heatseeker temp guage, 41mm Jerry Hall mikuni carb, duncan racing bumper, durablue axle, SBLT case saver, renthal bars, douglas wheels.

It really depends on what you want. The one on my zilla probably in the $250 or so range (Dont quote me on price). Its higher because of the checkers. They dont make a checker material so all those squares are seperate and sewn together. He had about 6 hrs in that seat, upholstery work is harder than most people think.

Never had one done by them, but I contacted cosmicquads about doing a repro. 92 camo seat.... I never followed through on it, but she said they could do it.... A lot of the Honda guys use her for OEM correct covers....

Seen them before, the yellow seems off, maybe due to lighting, need to see it on a Zilla!

I was going to look into Jettrim, they have a rep for extremely high quality & there prices are inline or less than some of the prices mentioned above.

http://www.jettrim.com/

Do they do LT500 Seats??

i'd stay away from verde seat covers.  had a few bad experiences with there seats.  those fancy plastic looking ones do not last.  also alittle cheap on extra material to staple to.

Slow I put one of the cheap eBay covers on.  The material is a bit thin, and the stiching sucks, SUCKS.

JB Sport trim, talk to Jennifer she has the layout for the LT500 and does a kick ass job and they last.  Double stitched and super good vinyl.

Webs.com has been shut down on the 31st of August 2023. Find out what that means for your site and how to move it to another provider.
freewebs.com

And has her own ebay store:

I've got 70 hours or more on mine it and is still going strong

That is a custom design I did myself and she made for me.

She has the template for this one and one other one that Dave in Michigan designed, so she has a total of 2 designs for the 500.

Feel free to use the designs we came up with and she has lots of material to change in & out colors.
