you need to remove the 2 number 6's.  1 on each side.  a flat screw driver should pop them out.  before you can press the needle bearing outer cage out. 

that bearing does have a outer cage.  if i remember right there is no cage holding the needles in, just grease.  been a few years since i rebuilt my cushion lever.
