I finally have this old Duner of mine rebuilt AGAIN... Its getting ready to run this weekend. New rear suspension, new topend and head on the little HPR small reed.
No time for chrome on the new swingarm before thanksgiving so its gonna look a bit rough first time out. I have two more that got complete makeovers this summer, be sharing those as well when they are a bit further along, one is a new Hybrid duner, the other is my original Hillshooter.
This duner will be on the DYNO next week... I like to know how much and where my motors are making power.
Anyone have a V2 pipe they want to bring by since it seems the SoCal boys won't step up??
Yes.... I'm ashamed to say I used some modded yamaha parts,

couldn't quite match the geometry so going to take some dial in for sure, add in the long swingarm also changes many things. There are quite a few issues I was having with the stock setup that I hope this will eliminate.
After I ride it and really evaluate if all the major fab work was worthwhile I will give up all the details.
Ken come over one day next week, bring your pipe, and you can see this bike in person. (the dyno results will be our private info!..we can charge big bucks if anyone wants to know!)
What day is dyno, I might have to be sick from work. Cough cough
Nice looking duner there Dale. You running a flat slide or round slide carb on that?
Dale, your bikes are amazing! They definately raise the bar for updating an old dinosaur. Hope to ride with you soon.
I HATE YOU DALE!!!!!!!!!!! but in a good way

as always amazing bike, I smell another QROTY....
Nice thinking outside the sandbox.

How about narrowing the front a arm mounts?
Anti vibe stem and flexx bars. How do you like that setup?
Thanks guys!....had one of you call me and ask " why don't you just stuff a motor in one of the new 4-strokes and be done", Probably right. I guess I just like keeping it a Quadracer base machine, more nostalgic that way!
Yes narrowing the front frame would be better...that would be another $$ project. I've put a pile in this thing already..Tyler at Metaltech just smiles when I pull up.

The stem and bars make it very forgiving in a harsh situation, especially when I don't always land in perfect form, and that front setup really soaks up the chop from the sandcars.
well Dale how did it run today, and i really want to know how much sand those rear tires will throw.
looks good you can call me and give me the secrete info if you want. lol
Dale thats a nice bike.....lets race...lol
