Fleabay has this pvl ignition system. No lighting coils to fail.  The low reciprocating weight has to help let it rev quickly for sure but what other benefits can this provide?

Top ten list of BENEFITS when using a PVL on the LT500

1.  A timing curve that DOES not compliment the LT500 needs.
2.  Frequent holes in the dome of the piston.
3.  Broken kick starter parts.
4.  Brused/ broken right foot or ankle.
5.  Difficulty starting.
6.  Accelerated ware on clutch baskets.
7.  Accelerated ware and broken transmission teeth.
8.  Accelerated ware on chain, sprokets and tires.
9.  Lack of traction or "hook up" on dry or poor traction surfaces.
10. Ignition rotor is not keyed to the crankshaft, increasing installation time and increasing the possibility of the rotor slipping on the crank shaft
