Ground up chassis rebuild help needed

New to the message board here. Looking for some helping on a ground up chassis rebuild.

My machine is a 1989 lt 500. Currently I have a stage 2 Duncan racing engine/exhaust/carb etc... ready to install but The hold up is that I want to rebuild my chassis from the frame up. I don’t want to replace tired and warn out parts with oem parts that were a weak link then and are a weak link now. If anyone has done a ground up up to date restoration on the chassis (fixing the weak links) and would be willing to share some information on what and where to buy would be greatly appreciated.  I have been waiting since February from a reputable company to help me with the ordering of the chassis parts and I am done waiting and am reaching out for help here.  This project is over a year old and I just want it done so I can enjoy the machine before the end of summer.  Thanks
