Don't like the top one either.
Ugliest 250's I've ever seen had them, and they'd probably look fine with a stock hood, or at least better without one at all.

bottom one is more oem style, top one just looks out of place when on a 250

I have the top one on mine, here is a pic with it on,It looks good on the quad.

I personally bought the stock looking one from Maier I just think it looks right. Im not bashing anyone who went with the aftermarket looking one , but I like the way the stock ones look.  I just paid like 90 bucks for the stock one though and it wasnt super easy to find.  I think partzilla sells them also. I picked mine up on ebay.
