Re: RAD bearing carriers

Well I bought the RAD bearing carrier S7 which is the dual row carrier. First I will say they shipped it out super fast, I ordered it on friday afternoon, and monday it was at my door 10am Lol. It looks to be so much stronger than the stock carrier, and having the grease zerk will make it easy to keep the bearings packed with grease for years to come. I couldn't make up my mind at first between the two different carriers they sale as the S7 like I bought is the dual row carrier and the S5, or S2 can't remember but anyway the other one is the tapered bearing single on each side, So since I was in a hurry to get this quad back together I just went with my gut and bought the dual row S7 and I will say that it was the best $271 i ever spent and that was with the shipping. I got it thinking I was going to have to put the bearings in it but was surprized to see it comes all together right from them, you just buy it and put it in and ready to go Lol. I was just glad to see there is still a company out there that still makes after arket stuff for our quads as I'm sure everyone has been through what I have these last 6 months of my rebuild not being able to find anything aftermarket out there for it brand new was a pain. But needless to say I got on ebay every single day for 3 months strait and was able to find alot of nice used after market stuff like my hinson clutch basket, hotrods crank, +2, +1 a-arms, ect. So now for everything to go together and she will be alive/ like new other than plastics as I am holding off trying to find the white carbon fiber plastics, so the old ones will do for this summer unless I am able to find them soon. I do want to thank everyone who has helped me during my build and I really hope to get a chance to meet some of you in person on some of the trips I plan on making to ride, but most of all I want to say a special THANK YOU to IceRacer/ Carl Bartlett for doing my motor......He is the man, even though this was my first quad/ 2 stroke motor rebuild and haven't seen any other builders I wouldn't want to after seeing what Carl did with my top end, ported/polished, bored/honed, raised compression on my head, and shaved it, along with resurfacing all ends on my jug, and the cherry on top O-ringed my head. So as soon as I get on the ball I have alot of pics to post to show everything I've done through my whole build including all my polishing of my whole motor and anything that was aluminum. So again thanks everyone for all the help and if anyone is in need of a great bearing carrier I would buy a RAD bearing carrier any day as it looks like it will hold up for a long time.
