• need to know what needed to.make 87 swimgarm work on 85 86 lt250

• Iike the title say im selling my 87 swingarm to a guy with 85 86 model. I have swingarm carrier shock linkage but no shock. I thought you had to use everything off the 87 to make it work. Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks Brian

• From what I've seen you are correct, you need to have everything shock and axle too I believe.

• you can use the 86 rear shock. break stay arm will have to be shortened to fit the 87 swingarm  and the 86 axle works to . It all worked when i did mine .

• Isnt the newer rear shock longer? So wouldnt it be benificial to swap the newer shock in as well? I didnt even think about the stay arm.

  he will have to put some spacers on the dog bone a few washers will work
